International volunteer opportunity for children’s summer camps in Estonia

We are opening a call for one or two international volunteers to join the NGO interEST summer camp team in Estonia in June 2026. We are looking for responsible and motivated individuals who are interested in supporting children’s camps in a structured, safe and professional environment. The role is intended for volunteers who are comfortable working in a team and communicating clearly with both children and staff.
The volunteering period includes two camps, and volunteer is expected to take part in both. The first camp takes place from 14 to 19 June 2026, followed by a free period from 20 to 24 June, and the second camp runs from 25 to 30 June 2026. Accommodation and meals are provided for the entire duration, including the free days between the camps. You can use free days to discover around the region independently, for example Pärnu city is summer capital of Estonia.
The camps are based on non-formal education principles and include organised activities, games and group-based learning. Volunteers support the camp team in daily activities, supervision and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. Days start around 8:00 and finish 23:00, with few small breaks to rest. Previous experience with children or youth work is an advantage but not a requirement.
Accommodation and meals are covered throughout the whole period. Travel costs to and from Estonia are not covered. If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact us at laager@interest.edu.ee.
Applications are submitted through our online application form. We ask applicants to share as much information as they feel comfortable with, as this helps us better understand their motivation, background and suitability for the role. There are no strict requirements regarding length or format, and we encourage honest responses rather than polished or promotional answers.
The application deadline is 23:59 on 15 February 2026. After the deadline, all applications will be reviewed by the organising team, and selected candidates may be contacted for a short follow-up conversation if needed. The final selection will take place at the beginning of March 2026.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome once the selection process is complete. If you have any questions about the application process or the volunteering role, you are welcome to contact us before submitting your application.
